The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James has a takedown stuffed.
James throws a lazy right hand but Gump sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A lazy left from Gump finds it's target.
Gump connects with a body shot that sends James's belly button to the back.
Gump lands a slapping body shot.

James drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gump is looking for a sweep.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gump is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

James has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

James lands a big shot there that rocks Gump but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
James connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Gump is desperately trying to improve his position but James has a good base and remains in mount.
Gump tries to lock up and control but James gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Gump is trying desperately to improve position.
James softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Gump is out cold! James jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
