The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Beauford paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dixon closes the distance but Beauford moves to the side
and Beauford connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dixon takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Dixon jerks Beauford's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Beauford drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Dixon goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Dixon because Beauford was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
