The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lork bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Karelin's head backwards.
Jab, jab by Lork - just one landing.
Lork throws a shot to the body.
Karelin looks to score with a jab to the body but Lork is just out of range.
Karelin slips a straight right by Lork.
Lork pivots, looking for a leg kick but Karelin is out of range and Lork settles back down.
Karelin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Karelin misses with a body punch
and Lork counters with a straight right hand.

Karelin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Lork is not content to let Karelin control the position.

Karelin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lork, who protects the arm well.
Karelin slows the pace down.
Karelin advances to full mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lork avoids a series of strikes thrown by Karelin.
Lork wants to control but Karelin is having none of it.
Karelin controlling the pace for now.
Karelin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lork is looking to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Karelin lands a nice shot to the head.
Karelin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Prick Lork's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
