Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dias's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Marcelo D2 & Claudia - Desabafo / Deixa Eu Dizer. Fabricio Dias could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ichi Takeshi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ichi Takeshi!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias throws a right hand that Takeshi ducks under and follows up with a left that Takeshi also avoids with ease.
Takeshi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dias.
Takeshi has a takedown stuffed.
Dias throws a hook but Takeshi blocks it.
Sloppy strikes from Dias. Those never looked like landing.
Dias throws a combination. Takeshi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Takeshi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dias to the mat! Dias manages to get full guard.

Takeshi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Dias wants to get up but he can't break Takeshi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Takeshi unloads with some shots from mount but Dias bucks and avoids them well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Dias is trying to stand up here but Takeshi is controlling him well.

Takeshi is trying to work for a kimura but Dias is defending well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Takeshi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dias with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ichi Takeshi dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Dias swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A combination from Dias does no damage.
Takeshi tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Dias swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Takeshi counters with a takedown into side control.
Takeshi cracks Dias with a big right hand but Dias just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Takeshi works to advance to full mount. Dias defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Ichi Takeshi has got the better of the ground game so far.
BOOM! Takeshi connects with a massive shot to the dome!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dias is rocked!

Takeshi has control of Dias's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dias regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Oh Dias is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Takeshi cracks Dias with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
