Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Stack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murray has chosen KO muzik as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Stack!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Murray!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stack moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A jab from Murray finds it's way through Stack's defenses.
Murray throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Murray scores with a nice right hand.
Murray is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stack.
Nice body kick there by Stack.
Murray throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stack stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Murray darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Murray scores with a nice hook to the head.
Stack lands an elbow inside.


It looks like Lee Murray has been cut.
Stack lands an elbow inside that Murray shrugs off.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stack escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murray throws a hook but Stack avoids it easily.
Murray tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stack was well out of range. Poor timing from Murray.
Stack throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Stack shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Murray manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Murray looking for a sweep. Not yet Murray, not yet.
Stack working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Murray's head.
Murray wants to sweep but no luck.
Stack has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stack pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Murray is keeping the position for now.
Stack trying to control but Murray is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murray looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stack looking to pass the guard.
Murray can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stack controls the pace.
Murray wants to stand up but Stack is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Murray tries to keep at a distance but Stack has taken the fight into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Murray gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stack.
Murray looking to slow down the pace here.
Murray blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Murray on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Murray misses with some punches.
Stack landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Murray taking a breather.
Stack blocks an uppercut.
Murray is trying to stall.
Stack is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Murray is defending well for now.
Stack lands an elbow inside.
Stack misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Murray.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Stack.
Murray is looking to control Stack's arms but Stack gets an underhook and turns him. Now Murray has his back to the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stack has Murray pressed against the cage, preventing Murray from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Stack utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stack tightens his grip and picks Murray up, before dumping him to the ground. Murray manages to land in guard.
Stack is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Stack throwing strikes from guard but Murray blocks nicely.
Stack trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Murray looking to control.

Stack thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stack passes Murray's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ground and pound from Stack.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Stack dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lee Murray's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


A jab from Murray finds it's way through Stack's defenses.
Stack keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big right from Murray misses.

Stack closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Murray quickly recovers to half guard.
Stack trying to control the action but Murray is working from the bottom.
Stack lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Jim Stack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Stack uses his free foot to push down on Murray's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Murray.
Murray keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stack lands with some strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stack scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Oooh a big shot lands for Stack! Murray is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jim Stack!
Jim Stack retains his heavyweight title!
During a confident post fight interview, Jim Stack thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
