The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eckstein throws a head kick that Jackson semi-blocks.
A slow jab from Eckstein misses its intended target.
Jackson misses with a straight right.
Jackson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Jackson swings widly with a right hand
and Eckstein counters with a good low kick that Jackson was not able to check.
Jackson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jackson looks to land a left hand but Eckstein moved out of range nicely.
Jackson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good standup being displayed there by Eckstein as he connects with a hook.
Jackson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A combination from Jackson does no damage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Eckstein.

Jackson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Eckstein.
Eckstein ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Eckstein's shoulder, as Eckstein tries to avoid the shot.
Eckstein takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Quinton Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Eckstein has time to react.

Eckstein is rocked!
Jackson plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Eckstein swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Eckstein face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
