Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Ass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergi Lutsenko!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ass throws a low kick but Lutsenko avoids it.
Ass misses with a double jab
enabling Lutsenko to counter with a crisp jab.
Ass fails to land the takedown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lutsenko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ass takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Lutsenko keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ass.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ass. That's going to slow Lutsenko down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lutsenko. Ass does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lutsenko moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Ass fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lutsenko avoids it really well and circles away.
Lutsenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ass throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lutsenko tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ass is in Lutsenko's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lutsenko keeping moving, preventing Ass from controlling successfully.
Lutsenko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ass gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ass throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lutsenko wants to get back to his feet but Ass is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ass preventing the sweep.
Ass avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lutsenko is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ass throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lutsenko's body to avoid the submission. Lutsenko has instead reached around Ass's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lutsenko arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Sergi Lutsenko!
