Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brian Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dilbert Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chavez has chosen When Worlds Colide as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Maddox - just one landing.
Maddox throws an off balance right hand
and Maddox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chavez cracks Maddox with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Chavez takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Brian Maddox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chavez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Maddox avoids it really well and circles away.

Chavez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maddox swivels though and keeps the full guard.
