Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Suraski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Asher Asher!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suraski takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Suraski fails to land the takedown.
Suraski lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Asher at a distance.
Suraski clobbers Asher with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Suraski drops Asher with a right and a left! Suraski comes rushing in but Asher regains his composure and manages to keep Suraski in guard.


It looks like Asher Asher has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Suraski wants to pass the guard but Asher is keeping the position.
Suraski trying to control but Asher is working from the bottom.
Suraski stands and throws Asher's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Asher dodges the ground and pound from Suraski.
Suraski lands a nice forearm strike.
Asher is trying to escape the position but Suraski is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Asher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Check out the look on Suraski's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Suraski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Suraski throwing strikes but Asher manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Suraski is looking to reverse the position.
Suraski gets back to half guard.
Suraski trying to control but Asher postures up.

Suraski is looking for a sweep. Asher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Asher content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are battling for position here. Suraski manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Asher trying to control the position from guard on top but Suraski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Suraski manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Suraski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Asher is looking to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Asher is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Suraski breaks from Asher's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Suraski wants to control the pace but Asher is squirming around nicely.
Suraski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Asher's face.


Asher is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Suraski softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Asher is out cold! Suraski jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dave Suraski!
Dave Suraski very nearly forgot to thank Global Nutritional ACME (Q157) 90% ROR on Laundry amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
