Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duggan comes to the cage accompanied by Bitch!!! Where you been. Jim Duggan had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jim Duggan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tom Jones!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duggan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones.
Duggan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Duggan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Duggan there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Duggan's head back.
Duggan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jones. That one must have hurt.

Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jones jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Duggan catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Duggan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jones looks to land a left hand but Duggan moved out of range nicely.

Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Duggan's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Duggan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace.

Duggan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Duggan tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Duggan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Duggan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Duggan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tom Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Duggan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Duggan throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Duggan moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Duggan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Jones trying to move into half guard but instead Duggan has managed to sweep!
Jones controls Duggan momentarily but Duggan frees himself.
Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jones is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tom Jones wasn't active enough on the ground.
Jones is looking to slow Duggan down with leg kicks.
Duggan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Duggan's head.

Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
