The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Valentine.
Valentine misses with a low kick.
Valentine shoots in looking for a takedown. Stresemann tries to sprawl out of it but Valentine keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stresemann manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Valentine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stresemann avoids it really well and circles away.

Valentine uses his free foot to push down on Stresemann's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stresemann.
