Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helmer shoots in looking for a takedown. Frank tries to sprawl out of it but Helmer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Frank manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Helmer has a takedown stuffed.
Helmer with a lazy takedown attempt
and Frank counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bubba Frank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stig Helmer.

and Frank cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Frank throws a nice looking combination but Helmer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Frank throws a combination. Helmer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

and Frank counters with a stiff right hand.
Helmer is rocked!
Helmer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Frank circles away.

Helmer is still on wobbly legs! Can Frank finish him?
Frank lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Frank looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.

and Frank counters with a nice right hand that sends Helmer toppling to the canvas! Helmer scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Frank finish him?!
That has opened up Stig Helmer's cut even more.
Frank is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Helmer.
Frank drops Helmer with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Helmer looks back up at him and smiles so Frank waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Frank throws a shot from downtown. Helmer moves away and avoids it.
Helmer shoots in and drives through. Frank sprawls well.
No joy there for Frank, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Helmer is trying desperately to land a takedown but Frank is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Helmer.
Frank connects with a looping right hand.
Frank looks to land a left hand but Helmer moved out of range nicely.

Frank uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Helmer has time to react.

Helmer seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Frank shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Helmer is backing up but Frank catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Helmer covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Frank Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bubba Frank!
Bubba Frank decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
