Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rui Salsep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Brum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brum drops Salsep with a left and a right! Oh, Salsep is hurt - Brum dives into side control looking to finish!

Salsep is rocked!

It looks like Rui Salsep has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brum trying to control the action but Salsep is working from the bottom.
Oh Salsep is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Salsep is trying to buck Brum off.
Salsep seems to have got his legs back now.

Salsep throws Brum to one side and escapes!
Salsep on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Brum throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Brum.
Brum wants to stand but Salsep is controlling his arm.
Salsep on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Salsep tries to get out of the position.

Salsep sneaks out the side door and pushes Brum away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Salsep tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Salsep takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Salsep uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brum.
Salsep could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Salsep tries to clinch but Brum moves out of range.
Brum swings for the body but Salsep moves out of range.
Brum swats away the attempt to clinch by Salsep.
Salsep tries to clinch but Brum is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Salsep gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brum.
Brum keeps the fight on the outside.

Brum tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Salsep was well out of range. Poor timing from Brum.
Brum scores with a hook.
Salsep tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Brum counters with a stiff right hand.

Rui Salsep's cut is getting worse.
Salsep uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brum.

Nice uppercut there from Brum.
Brum catches Salsep with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Brum misses with a body shot.
Brum tries to close the distance and clinch but Salsep swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Salsep is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brum is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Salsep moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Patrick Brum dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rui Salsep's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brum scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Brum prevents Salsep from standing back up.

Salsep kicks Brum off and gets back to his feet.
Salsep tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brum swivels and escapes.
Brum avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Salsep looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
and Brum counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Salsep! He's just covering up as Brum starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

A determined Patrick Brum didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
