And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jay Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter throws a lazy uppercut
and Hanks counters with a nice uppercut.
Hunter shoots for a takedown but Hanks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hunter blocks the body kick.
Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown but Hanks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown. Hanks tries to sprawl out of it but Hunter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hanks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Craig Hanks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Hunter.

Hunter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hanks avoids it really well and circles away.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Hanks.
Hanks looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hanks works Hunter's body with a nice hook.
Hanks throws a wild body kick that Hunter sees coming a mile off.
Hanks thows a body shot but no joy.
Hanks changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Hunter is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hanks is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hunter.

Hanks dips to his left and cracks Hunter with an uppercut!
Hunter slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hanks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hanks fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hunter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hanks misses with a kick to the body.
Hunter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hanks counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hanks moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hanks darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


Hunter is rocked!


It looks like Jay Hunter has been cut.
Hanks connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Hunter out cold! This one is over in a flash!
