Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Marilyn Manson - Born Villain . Grossman has chosen The Devil's Rejects as his entrance music. Michael Patton could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Karl Grossman's chin.

Patton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Grossman throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Patton blocks it with crossed arms.
Patton tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Grossman throws a sloppy head kick and Patton moves out of range easily.

Grossman lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Patton wants to clinch.
Grossman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Patton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Grossman looks to throw the jab but Patton is out of range.
Grossman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Grossman there as he acknowledges the shot.
Patton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Grossman.
Grossman connects with a leg kick. Patton looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Patton is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Patton throws an uppercut from hell that sends Grossman clean off his feet! He's out cold! Patton stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
