The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy lands a jab to the head.

Ikkonen swings wildly with an uppercut but Roy uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ikkonen lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Roy backwards.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ikkonen keeps control of Roy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Roy is rocked!
Roy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ikkonen creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Roy's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Roy drops to his knees and Ikkonen pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
