Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rampage Jackson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Eugene Bradley Burns!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a kick to the body.

Burns looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Burns is pressing down on Jackson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jackson is holding on for now.
Jackson moves into full guard.
Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Burns is controlling him.
Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Burns is one step ahead there.
Burns wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burns landing with the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson is looking for a triangle but Burns pushes his legs off easily.
Jackson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Burns content to stall in guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burns trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Burns slips nicely into half guard.
Burns has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jackson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Jackson trying to hold on to Burns's head to control him but Burns postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Burns works his foot free and advances to mount.
Burns is landing with some decent strikes but Jackson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jackson is working hard here to advance position.
Burns content just to control the position here.
Jackson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Burns can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape.

The referee warns Jackson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Burns is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Jackson is trying desperately to improve position.
Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Burns lands with some strikes.


It looks like Rampage Jackson has been cut.
Jackson wants to hold on but Burns pushes him away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Burns landing punches.


Rampage Jackson's cut is getting worse.
Burns looking to control but Jackson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Burns has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jackson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jackson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Burns scoring with strikes but Jackson is staying in there.

Burns looking to secure an arm triangle but Jackson defends it well.

Rampage Jackson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Jeez, Rampage Jackson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rampage Jackson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
