Spiller has chosen I Wanna Chill as his entrance music. Lonny Spiller is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckett tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spiller swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Spiller takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Spiller with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Beckett to score with a decent uppercut.

and Beckett counters with a lovely shot to the body.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
