The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kucuk tries to clinch up but Ashton circles away and keeps his distance.

Ashton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kucuk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kucuk is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Ashton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kucuk tries to buck Ashton off but Ashton is having none of it.
Ashton taking a break here but Kucuk is having none of it and regains half guard.
Ashton working over Kucuk with some ground and pound. Kucuk looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Ashton is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kucuk doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ashton.

Kucuk is pushing Ashton's head away, looking to escape. Ashton manages to hold on to the position though.
Kucuk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ashton on the ground.
