Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quala Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agung Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agung Kang has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Quala Bear's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Quala Bear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Agung Kang!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Bear throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Kang is working for a submission of some sort.
Bear tries to get to full guard but Kang has control of the leg.
Kang missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Kang is keen to just control but Bear is a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear tries to roll over but Kang keeps him under control.
Kang wants to control but Bear is keeping him busy.
Bear is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kang is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Kang is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bear sees it coming and defends easily.
Bear blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kang.

Kang is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bear defends it well.
Bear is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kang's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kang's back!
Bear tries to get the hooks in deep but Kang pushed the leg off.
Kang rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kang wants to get back to full guard but Bear has passed into side control.
Kang throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Kang is looking for a sweep.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kang is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bear off and has taken his back!

You can see the frustration on Bear's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Kang is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bear defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kang is trying to stick to Bear's back but Bear is turning into Kang. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kang's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bear.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bear fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Kang shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kang showed some decent athleticism there.
Bear wants to get back to full guard.
Bear is trying to stand back up but Kang is controlling him
Kang thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kang content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Kang is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bear reverses the position - he's now on top in Kang's guard.
Bear has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kang is proving hard to escape from.

Kang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bear gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bear wants to pass the guard but Kang is keeping the position.

Kang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bear can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kang looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Kang working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bear has passed into half guard!
Kang is trying to control but can't.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bear in particular looking to stall.
Kang tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Bear has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Bear looking to control and managing it successfully.
Agung Kang has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kang tries to control Bear's body but Bear pushes him off. Kang squirms to his side and now Bear has his back!

Bear trying to control momentarily.
Kang is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Bear is trying to stick to Kang's back but Kang is turning into Bear. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bear's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kang.
Kang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bear pulls Kang in close to his closed guard and prevents Kang from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Agung Kang will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Kang looking to sit in guard and control but Bear gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kang isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bear stacks Kang on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bear!
Bear avoids the strikes from the bottom by Kang.

Bear tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Kang sneaks back into half guard.
Bear prevents Kang from improving his position.
Kang keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Kang looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Bear is looking to take a break and control but Kang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Bear seems content to control.
Quala Bear has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kang has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bear is working away from the top position though.

Bear is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kang has managed to free his arm - good work.

Kang is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bear pulls his head out easily.

Kang wants to get back to full guard.
Bear trying to control the action but Kang is working from the bottom.
Kang trying to get back to full guard but Bear takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Kang really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kang takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Agung Kang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kang winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
