Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Major Lazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonna Spanked (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lazer's entrance music is Major Lazer - Pon De Floor. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Spanked looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Spanked tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lazer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lazer doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Spanked counters with a slapping leg kick.
Spanked scores with a leg kick.
A big left from Spanked misses.
A clash of legs there as Lazer blocks the low kick.

Spanked connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lazer momentarily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lazer is defended easily by Spanked.
A solid leg kick lands there for Spanked.

Spanked lands a big right hand that sends Lazer crashing to the mat! Spanked stays standing though and waves Lazer back to his feet!

Lazer shoots in looking for a takedown but Spanked manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lazer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Spanked moves into range and clinches up with Lazer.

Spanked tries to land knees in the clinch but Lazer avoids the damage to the body.

Spanked is pushing Lazer up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Lazer is trying to drag Spanked to the mat but Spanked just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lazer is trying to force a seperation but Spanked has the dominant position.
Spanked lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Spanked blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lazer swings wildly with an uppercut but Spanked uses good head movement to avoid it.

Spanked throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Spanked has Lazer pressed against the cage, preventing Lazer from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Lazer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Spanked smiles and moves away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Spanked.

Spanked closes the distance and clinches.
Spanked is pressed up against the cage. Lazer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Spanked down to the mat. Spanked avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Spanked tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lazer is able to avoid easily.
Spanked lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Spanked takes a swing at Lazer's ribcage but misses.
Lazer moves out of range of the body kick.
Spanked digs a good body shot into Lazer's ribs.

Lazer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Spanked misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lazer.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Spanked.
Spanked cracks Lazer with a nice body shot.
Spanked lands a shot to the body.
Spanked lands an elbow inside.
Spanked tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lazer avoids it.
Spanked lands a hook that snaps the head of Lazer backwards.
Spanked looking to throw knees to the head but Lazer is blocking nicely.

Gonna Spanked showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Spanked lands a big uppercut and Lazer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lazer looks OK. Spanked waves Lazer back to his feet!

Spanked moves into range and clinches up with Lazer.
Oh Lazer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spanked has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lazer is pressed against the cage. Spanked pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Lazer! Two more big strikes from Spanked and Lazer crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
