Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abu Davee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chev Chelios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chelios has chosen In Waves as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chelios jabs Davee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Chelios lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Davee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Abu Davee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A left lands for Chelios.
Davee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chelios misses with a wild combination.
Chelios pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Davee throws a right and a left that Chelios avoids nicely.
Davee scores with a nice right hand.
Chelios throws a body punch but Davee moves out of range.
Chelios closes the distance and pushes Davee back into the cage.

Chelios pushes Davee back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The referee calls for Chelios to work.
Chelios tries to land a knee to the head but Davee blocks with his arms.
Davee tries a body shot but Chelios blocks it.
Davee seems to have got his legs back now.
Chelios lands a body punch in the clinch.

Chelios throws a knee to the head but misses.
Chelios scores with a nice hook to the head.
Davee wants to get back to striking at distance but Chelios won't allow it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chelios tries to work over Davee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Davee wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Chelios with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Davee looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Davee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Chelios looks to land a left hand but Davee moved out of range nicely.
Chelios steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Davee.
Davee misses with a wild body shot.
Chelios scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Chelios ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Davee misses with a hook
and Chelios makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Davee drops his hands momentarily and Chelios takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Chelios tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Davee scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Davee misses with an uppercut.
Davee scores with a jab to the head.
Chelios blocks a jab.
Chelios tries to close the distance and clinch but Davee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Davee takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Chelios drops Davee with a straight right hand, right on the button! Chelios follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chev Chelios!
A relieved looking Chev Chelios thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
