The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duplesris lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Horrible takedown by Duplesris or perhaps it was just good defense by Bernardo which made him look bad.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bernardo won't allow Duplesris to sweep him here.
Bernardo wants to control from the top but Duplesris keeps moving.
Bernardo passes Duplesris's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Duplesris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bernardo on the ground.
Bernardo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Duplesris does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Duplesris is looking to control Bernardo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Duplesris avoid being mounted?
Bernardo is pressing down on Duplesris's thigh, looking to free his foot. Duplesris is holding on for now.
