Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murat Shokhzodayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thai comes to the cage accompanied by Deadly Muay Thai Skills. Shokhzodayev has chosen russian song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai throws a series of punches but Shokhzodayev moves out of range.

Thai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shokhzodayev, pushing him back against the cage.

It looks like Murat Shokhzodayev has been cut.

Thai rushes Shokhzodayev and presses him up against the cage.

Thai is trying to trip Shokhzodayev. He has hold of a leg but Shokhzodayev is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Thai persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Thai gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Thai darts in and clinches Shokhzodayev up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Thai - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Shokhzodayev tries a body shot but Thai blocks it.
Shokhzodayev is trying to drag Thai to the mat but Thai just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Shokhzodayev has Thai pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Thai manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Thai has hold of one of Shokhzodayev's legs. Shokhzodayev is fighting the takedown attempt but Thai gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Shokhzodayev is working an open guard so Thai takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
