Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Bamboni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wendell Diefendorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bamboni's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ice Ice Baby. Diefendorf has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 20 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Wendell Diefendorf!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diefendorf thows a left - swing and a miss!
Diefendorf stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bamboni.

Bamboni bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diefendorf is looking to regain half guard here but Bamboni keeps moving and retains side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Bamboni.
