Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Liu Bei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Jalkalukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bei comes into the arena with Hypnotic blaring out of the sound system. Jalkalukko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jordan Sparks ft. Chris Brown - No Air kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jalkalukko tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bei is able to avoid easily.
Bei jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bei throws an overhand right that lands on Jalkalukko's shoulder, as Jalkalukko tries to avoid the shot.

Bei throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jalkalukko throws a head kick that half lands.
Bei lands a jab to the nose.
Jalkalukko throws out a leg kick but Bei moves out of range and Jalkalukko only half commits.
An inside leg kick lands from Jalkalukko.
Bei throws the left hand but Jalkalukko avoids the punch easily.

Jalkalukko shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bei is looking for a sweep. Jalkalukko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bei is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jalkalukko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jalkalukko's back!
Bei is looking to control Jalkalukko but Jalkalukko is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Jalkalukko rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Bei is taking a breather. Jalkalukko says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Bei tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jalkalukko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bei is working hard here to advance position.
Bei wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jalkalukko keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Bei is going to stand back up.
Bei is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Liu Bei has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Jalkalukko thows a leg kick but Bei checks it
and Bei counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Jalkalukko shoots in and bounces Bei off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bei can't keep his opponent in guard - Jalkalukko advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Jalkalukko is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bei tries to roll over but Jalkalukko keeps him under control.
Bei is trying to maintain the position but Jalkalukko is very close to passing his half guard.

Jalkalukko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bei is just riding it out for now. Jalkalukko eventually gives up the hold.
Bei works his way to full guard. Good work.
Bei pulls Jalkalukko in to control the position.

Bei controls Jalkalukko momentarily but Jalkalukko frees himself.
Jalkalukko stands and throws Bei's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bei can't do much from the bottom here.

Jalkalukko thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bei tries to get back to half guard but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Liu Bei dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jalkalukko walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bei checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bei looks to throw the jab but Jalkalukko is out of range.
Bei lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bei misses with an uppercut
and Jalkalukko counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bei's knee momentarily.
Jalkalukko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jalkalukko does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jalkalukko.
Jalkalukko throws a leg kick which misses Bei's front leg but catches the back leg as Bei tries to avoid it.
Bei's corner calls for a 1-2. Bei obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Jalkalukko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bei.

Jalkalukko with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jalkalukko gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bei.

Jalkalukko is rocked!
Jalkalukko glances at the clock... BAM! Bei nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Jalkalukko crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Jalkalukko is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
