Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jakob Kellerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kellerman comes into the arena with When Darkness Falls blaring out of the sound system. Jakob Kellerman has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jakob Kellerman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luiz Silva!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kellerman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A swing and a miss from Silva.
Silva stuns Kellerman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Silva stalks Kellerman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kellerman's face. Kellerman staggers backwards, shaken.
Kellerman fails with a takedown attempt.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Kellerman. Kellerman gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva misses with a wild combination.

Silva rushes Kellerman and presses him up against the cage.
Silva wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kellerman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jakob Kellerman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Silva blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kellerman manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Kellerman is pushing Silva up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jakob Kellerman.

Kellerman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Kellerman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kellerman tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Silva's elbow.

Kellerman tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Kellerman is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kellerman throws a punch but it's blocked by Silva.

Luiz Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Jakob Kellerman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Some bone on bone action there as Kellerman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Kellerman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silva moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Kellerman shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kellerman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Kellerman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kellerman on the side of the head.

Kellerman shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Kellerman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva feints a jab promting Kellerman to slip. Silva then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kellerman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Kellerman counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.
Kellerman keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kellerman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kellerman is looking to advance position but Silva won't allow it.
Kellerman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kellerman not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Kellerman is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, if Kellerman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kellerman seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.
Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kellerman is working away from the top position though.
Silva tries to kick Kellerman off but Kellerman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Luiz Silva is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Silva wants to improve his position but Kellerman is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kellerman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Silva lands a lovely overhand right.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jakob Kellerman.
I think Silva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Luiz Silva really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Steel Penn's Exchange Extravaganza logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
