The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels scoring well with a low kick there.
Jab, jab by Michaels - just one landing.
Konstantinov misses with a straight right.
Konstantinov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Michaels to score with a decent uppercut.
Michaels moves into range and connects with a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Michaels. Konstantinov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Konstantinov looks to throw the jab but Michaels is out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Michaels.
Michaels lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Konstantinov falls backwards - clearly groggy! Michaels dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karl Michaels!
