Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Enki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Enki misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from James.
James tries to score a power double leg takedown but Enki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten James somewhat.
Enki tries to close the distance and clinch but James swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

James shoots for a takedown but Enki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Enki swings and misses with a hook to the body.

James misses with a takedown attempt - Enki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex James. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheers as Enki lands an impressive looking overhand right. James doesn't seem phased though.
Master Enki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

James has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Enki's face.

A big strike lands for James! That's really hurt Enki and he's turned his back - James keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! James jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
