PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Radden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Rowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Radden comes into the arena with Un Ange En Danger by Mc Solaar with Ron Carter blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radden defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rowe.

Rowe is trying to drag Radden to the mat but Radden just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Rowe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Radden tries to bum rush Rowe with a series of wild strikes but Rowe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rowe shoots in and drives through. Radden sprawls well.

Rowe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rowe is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Radden is defending well.
Radden wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Rowe is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rowe goes for a takedown attempt but Radden pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Radden throws a right and a left that Rowe avoids nicely.
Rowe closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Radden jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Rowe drives through with a takedown into Radden's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Radden is adopting a defensive guard.
Radden is trying to control the position but Rowe postures up.
Radden avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rowe is looking to stand up but Radden won't let him.

Rowe stands and steps away. Radden gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Rowe throws a hook but Radden blocks it.

Rowe misses with a hook to the ribs.

Rowe decides to pull guard.

Radden prevents Rowe from getting back to his feet.
Radden is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Radden stops Rowe from standing up.
Rowe is striking but Radden is not phased and passes to half guard.

Radden stands up from half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Radden misses with a few strikes there.
Rowe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Radden manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chad Rowe dominated that round.
That's time! Radden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Radden comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rowe shoots in for a double leg but Radden sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A telegraphed right hand from Rowe misses the target.
Rowe tries for a takedown but Radden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Radden dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rowe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Radden pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rowe back to the cage. Radden follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Chad Rowe has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Radden tests Rowe's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Radden lands a big right hand that sends Rowe crashing to the mat! Radden stays standing though and waves Rowe back to his feet!

Rowe is rocked!
Crack! Radden connects with the perfect overhand right and Rowe falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Radden!

A very excited looking Travis Radden rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
