Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hank Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bronco Buster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buster throws a leg kick but Patterson checks it.
Buster misses with a hook. Patterson ducked under it nicely.

and Patterson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Patterson moves into the clinch.
Patterson tries to throw a body punch but Buster avoids it by throwing Patterson back against the cage.
Buster is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Patterson lands a right hand.

Buster lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Patterson backwards.
Patterson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Patterson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Buster stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Buster throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Patterson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A combination from Buster does no damage.
The crowd cheers as Patterson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Buster doesn't seem phased though.

Buster uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Patterson has time to react.

Patterson motions for Buster to come forward. Patterson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Patterson drops Buster with a beautiful combination! Buster stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Patterson is looking for the KO!

Buster closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buster lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
