PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Rex Tyrannosaurus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hydro Mint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tyrannosaurus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to MacArthurPark. Mint has chosen 50 Cent OK You re Right OK You re Right as his entrance music. Hydro Mint is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrannosaurus throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mint moves in looking to clinch but Tyrannosaurus pushes him off.
Tyrannosaurus fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hydro Mint seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyrannosaurus lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tyrannosaurus feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mint's calf.
Mint misses with a leg kick
and Tyrannosaurus counters with a right hand to the body.
Mint looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tyrannosaurus lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tyrannosaurus lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mint takes a step back to recover.
Tyrannosaurus lands a body shot.
Tyrannosaurus cracks a nice hook into Mint's ribs.
Tyrannosaurus fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Tyrannosaurus. That's going to slow Mint down.
Tyrannosaurus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mint.
Mint walks into a stiff left hand from Tyrannosaurus.
Tyrannosaurus lands a slapping body shot.
Mint needs to keep his hands up - Tyrannosaurus had a free shot at his head there.
Mint takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tyrannosaurus lands with a shot to the body.
Tyrannosaurus is looking to wear down Mint with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Mint takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Mint has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tyrannosaurus.
Tyrannosaurus lands a leg kick that knocks Mint off balance momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from Tyrannosaurus finds it's way through Mint's defenses.
Mint's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Tyrannosaurus scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mint doesn't seem bothered though.
Tyrannosaurus digs a good body shot into Mint's ribs.
Tyrannosaurus jabs Mint right on the nose. Mint blinks but takes it well.

Tyrannosaurus scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Mint to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Tyrannosaurus away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Mint got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

Mint is rocked!

Tyrannosaurus drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Mint onto his butt! Mint pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Mint is still on wobbly legs! Can Tyrannosaurus finish him?
Mint tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mint seems to have recovered his senses.
Tyrannosaurus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mint on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Tyrannosaurus closes the distance and catches Mint with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Mint is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Mint is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Mint is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Tyrannosaurus takes it!

A very excited looking Rex Tyrannosaurus made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
