The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schrank misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Sanches blocks the leg kick.
Schrank swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Schrank cracks a nice hook into Sanches's ribs.

Schrank tries to keep at a distance but Sanches has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sanches lands a right hand.
Sanches stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Sanches lands an uppercut.
Schrank blocks an uppercut.
Schrank misses with a punch to the body.
Schrank trying to control the position but instead, Sanches has worked for underhooks and has pushed Schrank into the cage.
Schrank fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Sanches lands with a short shot to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sanches pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Schrank throws a wild body kick that Sanches sees coming a mile off.
Sanches ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schrank moves away.
Schrank tries a low kick but Sanches avoids it.
A swing and a miss from Sanches.
Schrank takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sanches.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sanches.
Schrank is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Schrank takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Sanches feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Schrank sprawling to the canvas! Schrank rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sanches finish him?!

Schrank is rocked!

It looks like Frank Schrank has been cut.
Sanches connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Schrank out cold! This one is over in a flash!
