Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butt Piracy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Short Fuse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piracy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Like Big Butts. Butt Piracy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Short Fuse's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piracy closes the distance looking to clinch
and Fuse counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Butt Piracy has been cut.
Piracy looks to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Fuse finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Piracy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fuse swings for the body but Piracy moves out of range.
Piracy tries to clinch but Fuse moves away
and Fuse cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fuse throws a head kick but Piracy moves out of range.

Fuse is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Piracy had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Piracy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Fuse and Piracy goes tumbling to the canvas! Fuse follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fuse in particular looking to stall.
Fuse's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Fuse wants to pass the guard but Piracy is defending well.

Piracy makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

and Fuse counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Piracy moves to clinch but Fuse breaks away
and Fuse counters with a left and a right that stings Piracy.
Piracy moves in looking to clinch but Fuse pushes him off.
That kick from Fuse tenderised Piracy's leg. Piracy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Piracy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fuse takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Fuse circles away from the clinch attempt
and Fuse counters with a nice body shot.

Fuse drops his shoulder and cracks Piracy with a huge uppercut! Piracy goes down! Can Fuse finish him?

Butt Piracy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fuse is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Piracy is looking to stand up but Fuse isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Short Fuse wasn't active enough on the ground.
Fuse scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Fuse lands a body shot.
Piracy tries to clinch but Fuse moves away
and Fuse counters with a nice low kick that buckles Piracy's knee momentarily.
Fuse has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Fuse feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Piracy's calf.
Piracy is breathing heavily.
Piracy tries to clinch up
and Fuse counters with a right hand to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fuse moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

and Fuse connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Fuse counters with a body kick that stops Piracy in his tracks momentarily.

Oooh a lovely combination from Fuse sends Piracy down but not out. Fuse dives into side control looking to finish.

Jeez, Butt Piracy's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Butt Piracy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Short Fuse!
A less than humble Short Fuse misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
