The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Macku.
Colossus misses with a lunging right hand
and Macku counters with an outside leg kick.
Colossus lands a nice hook to Macku's body. Macku takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Colossus dodges the punch combination from Macku.

Macku scores with a shot to the body.

Colossus has closed the distance and engaged Macku in a clinch.
Colossus works on Macku's body with a couple of short punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Macku lands a left hand.
A short uppercut from Colossus.

It looks like Adam Macku has been cut.
Macku is working for takedown but Colossus is calmly controlling the position for now.
Macku tries to break free but Colossus pushes him back against the cage.

Colossus has Macku pressed against the cage, preventing Macku from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Colossus swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Macku stalling in the clinch but Colossus improves position.

Macku gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Colossus regains guard.
Colossus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Macku manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Colossus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Macku has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Colossus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Colossus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Macku's guard.

Colossus perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Macku is trying to get back to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Macku looking for submissions off his back.
Colossus is keen to just control but Macku is a slippery customer.

Colossus throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are battling for position here. Macku manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Macku looking to hit a scissor sweep but Colossus is one step ahead there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Colossus avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Macku controls Colossus momentarily but Colossus frees himself.
Colossus is pushing down on Macku's leg trying to pass to half guard. Macku is fighting to maintain full guard but Colossus has managed to sneak the leg through.
Macku is refusing to be controlled, as Colossus sits in half guard.
Macku wants to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jt Colossus will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Adam Macku's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Macku is looking to land body kicks.
Good standup being displayed there by Macku as he connects with a hook.
Macku looks to land a left hand but Colossus moved out of range nicely.
Macku uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Colossus.
Macku pivots, looking for a leg kick but Colossus is out of range and Macku settles back down.
No joy there for Colossus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Colossus shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Macku eats them both and turns towards Colossus to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Macku keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Colossus uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Macku throws a wild body kick that Colossus sees coming a mile off.
Colossus avoids a kick to the body.

A slow jab from Macku misses its intended target.

Macku ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Colossus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Macku fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Colossus looks to land a left hand but Macku moved out of range nicely.
Macku swings for the body but Colossus moves out of range.
Macku misses with a lunging right hand

and Colossus moves into the clinch.

Macku's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Colossus throws an overhand right that lands on Macku's shoulder, as Macku tries to avoid the shot.
The crowd cheers as Colossus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Macku doesn't seem phased though.

Adam Macku's cut is getting worse.
Colossus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Colossus plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Macku swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Macku face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
