Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quintus Daedalus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ismail Kasyanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daedalus comes to the cage accompanied by Spartacus Soundtrack. Kasyanov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ismail Kasyanov!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasyanov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Daedalus drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Daedalus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kasyanov as he jumps to the side.
Kasyanov is looking to clinch.
Daedalus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kasyanov moves away.
No luck for Daedalus with that takedown attempt.
Kasyanov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Daedalus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kasyanov closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Quintus Daedalus has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kasyanov stuffs the takedown attempt from Daedalus. Daedalus gets slowly back to his feet.

Daedalus throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Daedalus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kasyanov is just riding it out for now. Daedalus eventually gives up the hold.

Kasyanov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Daedalus is looking to take a break and control but Kasyanov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Daedalus creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kasyanov sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

That was a close second round but I would say that Quintus Daedalus will probably get the nod.

Kasyanov takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Daedalus swings for the body but Kasyanov moves out of range.

Quintus Daedalus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Daedalus tries to score with some ground and pound. Kasyanov controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Daedalus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The strikes coming from Daedalus are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Daedalus goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kasyanov rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Daedalus's guard! Nice work there by Kasyanov!
Daedalus wants to sweep but no luck.
Daedalus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kasyanov manages to get himself to full guard.

Kasyanov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Kasyanov has control of Daedalus's left arm, preventing Daedalus from doing any damage.
Daedalus lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Daedalus drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kasyanov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Daedalus has Kasyanov in his guard.

Daedalus has Kasyanov pulled in close to control his posture.
Daedalus wants to hit a switch here but Kasyanov passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Daedalus there!

Daedalus has hold of Kasyanov's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts.
