With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harrison Best!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quala Bear!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best fails to land with a series of punches.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Best breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Best throws a one two combo.


It looks like Quala Bear has been cut.
Bear misses the shot to the body.

Best moves into range and clinches up with Bear.
A frustrated look appears on Best's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Best wants to get back to striking at distance but Bear won't allow it.
Best lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bear backwards.

Bear lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Best backwards.

Best escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bear throws a hook to the side of Best's head but Best sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Best uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bear.
Best pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bear throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bear is looking to slow Best down with leg kicks.

Best clinches up against the cage.
Bear lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Best manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Best taking a breather.
Best struggles to land a body shot inside as Bear controls his hands.
Bear lands with a right to the head.

Best tries to throw a body punch but Bear avoids it by throwing Best back against the cage.
Best is trying to break free.
Best blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Best is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Best trying to control the position but instead, Bear has worked for underhooks and has pushed Best into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bear throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Best scores with a jab. Bear acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bear tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Best manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bear avoids a punch combination nicely.
Best connects with an inside leg kick.

Best is trying to force a seperation but Bear has the dominant position.

Bear lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Bear tries to throw a body punch but Best avoids it by throwing Bear back against the cage.

Best feints and then cracks Bear's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bear down.
Best throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Best is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Best slips a jab and a cross from Bear.
Some bone on bone action there as Best checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bear keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Best.
Harrison Best seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bear fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bear cracks Best with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Best falls to his knees and Bear doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Our winner, Quala Bear, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
