Pearmine is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mctanned is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pearmine to the mat. Pearmine regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mctanned trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mctanned seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pearmine for as long as he can get away with.

Mctanned maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Pearmine could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mctanned has cracked it and Pearmine is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mctanned!

Paul Mctanned spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
