The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bolten fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Axe, pushing him back against the cage.
Bolten misses with a knee strike.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Axe looking to stall.
Axe tries to work over Bolten's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Axe is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bolten is defending well for now.

Axe creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Bolten has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Axe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Axe sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bolten's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Axe has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bolten to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Axe is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bolten pulls down on the head and he's put Axe to sleep! This one is all over!
