The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurgel lands with a cross.
Gurgel tries to clinch up.
Gurgel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chaney stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gurgel avoids the body shot from Chaney.
Chaney scores with a punch to the head.
Chaney throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chaney waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gurgel.
Gurgel looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Chaney lands a glancing blow to the side of Gurgel's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A solid body kick from Chaney.
A low kick from Chaney is predictable there
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A clash of legs there as Chaney blocks the low kick.
Chaney lands a nice looking body shot.
Chaney takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gurgel scores with a one two! Chaney had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Ivan Chaney has been cut.
Gurgel takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gurgel smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gurgel throws a body punch but Chaney moves out of range.

Chaney is rocked!
Gurgel connects with a superb combination that knocks Chaney out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Gurgel before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Chaney!
