Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Katsuo Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Dawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takeda kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Warrior Asylum by Disturbed. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richard Dawn!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takeda gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Dawn wants to control from the top but Takeda keeps moving.

Takeda looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dawn passes into half guard.
Takeda tries to get to full guard but Dawn has control of the leg.

Dawn seems to be looking for submissions.
Dawn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dawn wants to take a breather but Takeda is having none of it.

Dawn is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Takeda doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dawn.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Dawn has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Takeda is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dawn.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Takeda has his foot on Dawn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dawn works his way back into a safe position though.

Richard Dawn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
