The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xocoyol throws a combination. Takahashi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Xocoyol tries to keep at a distance but Takahashi has taken the fight into the clinch.
Xocoyol fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Takahashi connects with a nasty looking knee right to Xocoyol's face.

It looks like Tecocol Xocoyol has been cut.
Takahashi tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Xocoyol jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Takahashi walks away with a smile on his face. Xocoyol gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Xocoyol swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Xocoyol tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takahashi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Takahashi dips to his left and cracks Xocoyol with an uppercut!
Takahashi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Xocoyol's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Xocoyol jumps guard but Takahashi stands there with Xocoyol around his waist. Xocoyol gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Xocoyol tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Takahashi smiles and moves away.

Xocoyol is rocked!

That has opened up Tecocol Xocoyol's cut even more.
Takahashi creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Xocoyol's defenses.
Xocoyol is still on wobbly legs! Can Takahashi finish him?
Takahashi lands a left hand that snaps the head of Xocoyol backwards.
Takahashi jerks Xocoyol's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Xocoyol drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Takahashi goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Takahashi because Xocoyol was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Ichiro Takahashi!
After winning the bout, Ichiro Takahashi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
