Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kicks fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kicks throws a series of strikes that have Jones backpedaling.

Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Kicks is keeping the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kicks is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.
Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kicks wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
Kicks wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
Jones postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jones content to stall in guard here.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kicks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kicks fails to land with a series of punches.
Kicks scores with a one two! Jones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Jones takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Kicks shows good takedown defense.
Kicks is looking to clinch.
Kicks lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kicks.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kicks. Jones shrugs it off though.
Kicks misses with the combination.
Kicks tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
Kicks is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kicks gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jones passes Kicks's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Kicks wants to get back to his feet.
Jones takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Jones seems to be looking for submissions.
Kicks trying to control from the bottom.
Kicks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones stops Kicks from getting back to his feet.
Kicks is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kicks looks gassed!
Jones moves nicely into side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kicks trying to remain calm as Jones controls from the top position.
Jones has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kicks!
