Griffin has chosen The Claw as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Curtis with that takedown attempt.
Griffin moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Griffin has closed the distance and engaged Curtis in a clinch.
Curtis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Griffin is defending well.

Curtis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Griffin to keep the fight standing.
Curtis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Griffin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Griffin has Curtis pressed against the cage, preventing Curtis from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Curtis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Griffin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Griffin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Curtis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Griffin sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Griffin is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters are battling for position here. Griffin manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Curtis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Horrible takedown by Curtis or perhaps it was just good defense by Griffin which made him look bad.

Griffin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Griffin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Curtis sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Curtis is rocked!
Griffin drops Curtis with a huge uppercut! Curtis drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Griffin is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
