Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Snitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carter Potter!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Snitch throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Potter throws the left hand but Snitch avoids the punch easily.
Potter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Potter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Snitch.
Potter slips a straight right by Snitch.
Potter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Snitch.
Snitch misses with an uppercut. Potter saw that one coming.
Potter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Snitch just misses with a punch to the body.
Potter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.


It looks like Carter Potter has been cut.
Potter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Snitch avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Snitch looks to score with a jab to the body but Potter is just out of range.
Snitch throws a right and a left that Potter avoids nicely.
Potter throws the left hand but Snitch avoids the punch easily.
Potter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Snitch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Potter lands a lovely overhand right.
Snitch works Potter's body with a nice hook.
Snitch lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A jab from Snitch misses.
Potter ducks under a wild hook from Snitch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Potter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Potter defending well as Snitch loads up on a big left hand.
Nice uppercut there from Snitch.
Snitch jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Snitch throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Potter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Potter thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Snitch if he has to take too many more of those.

Snitch lands a head kick that stumbles Potter and the fighters go to the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Snitch missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Snitch throws a big elbow that misses.
Snitch is looking to work some ground and pound but Potter has wrist control.
Snitch has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Potter is proving hard to escape from.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snitch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Potter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Snitch is in close to Potter's body, working some short punches and elbows.


That has opened up Carter Potter's cut even more.
Snitch stops Potter from standing up.
Snitch working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Snitch seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Snitch gets to his feet. Potter looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Potter digs a good body shot into Snitch's ribs.
Snitch scores with a jab to the head.


The cut above Carter Potter's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Snitch throws a jab but it's blocked by Potter.
Snitch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Potter pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Potter looks to score with a jab to the body but Snitch is just out of range.
Snitch throws a nice looking combination but Potter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Snitch misses with a looping left.
Potter slips a jab from Snitch.
Potter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snitch moves away.
Snitch cracks Potter with a good jab.
Snitch connects with a jab.


Carter Potter's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Potter staying out of range there.
Potter connects with a nice looking jab.
Snitch gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Snitch loads up on a big right hand but Potter slips the punch.
Potter moves away from the strike by Snitch.
Snitch bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Potter swings for the body but Snitch moves out of range.
Snitch misses the jab.
Snitch missing with a left hand there. Potter was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A nice leg kick lands there from Potter.
Potter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rob Snitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Potter misses the shot to the body.
Snitch lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Carter Potter's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Rob Snitch!
Rob Snitch decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
