Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kauko Velaskuez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guybrush Threepwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guybrush Threepwood will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Velaskuez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Threepwood's half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Velaskuez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Threepwood is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looks like Kauko Velaskuez has been cut.

Velaskuez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Threepwood was covering up waiting for the punch and Velaskuez finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kauko Velaskuez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Guybrush Threepwood wasn't active enough on the ground.
Velaskuez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Threepwood circles away.
Threepwood turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Threepwood pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Threepwood buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Guybrush Threepwood seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Threepwood sends Velaskuez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Threepwood is motioning to the referee to let Velaskuez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Velaskuez is rocked!

Kauko Velaskuez's cut is getting worse.
Threepwood fakes the leg kick and cracks Velaskuez in the body.
Oh Velaskuez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Velaskuez tries to keep at a distance but Threepwood has taken the fight into the clinch.

Threepwood creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Velaskuez with a big uppercut! Velaskuez tries to clinch up but Threepwood pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Velaskuez to the mat! Velaskuez covers up and Threepwood unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

In his post fight interview, Guybrush Threepwood started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
