Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Braddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braddock comes to the cage accompanied by Bulls on Parade - Rage against the machine. Edwards is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Who - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Braddock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Braddock misses with a right hand
and Edwards counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Braddock misses with a jab, cross combination.
Braddock misses with a straight right.
Braddock lands a leg kick that knocks Edwards off balance momentarily.
Braddock comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A slow jab from Edwards misses its intended target.
James Braddock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Braddock misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Edwards.
A looping hook to the body misses from Edwards. Braddock does a little dance to reset his feet.
Edwards throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Braddock darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Edwards throws a lazy right hand but Braddock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Good exchange - Braddock coming out on top.

Braddock cracks Edwards with a right hand to the side of the head.
Braddock is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Braddock connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Edwards walks into a jab.
Edwards throws a jab but it's blocked by Braddock.
A big right from Braddock misses.
Good exchange - Edwards coming out on top.
Braddock misses with a kick to the body
and Edwards counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice uppercut there from Braddock.
Braddock ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Braddock is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Braddock tries a head kick but it misses.
Braddock chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Braddock on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Edwards. Edwards obviously looking to wear him down.
Braddock walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Edwards checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Braddock connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Edwards is rocked!
Braddock steps in with a hook that catches Edwards right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Braddock follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Edwards looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Braddock!
James Braddock made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'This fight isn't the one that matters. I'm thankful I won, but it isn't the one that matters.'.
