Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ethelbart Takahashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alvaro Salazar!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salazar.
Takahashi swings for the body but Salazar moves out of range.
Salazar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Takahashi is fending him off so far but Salazar persists. Nope, Takahashi circles away and we're back to standing.
Salazar on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Salazar shoots in for a takedown but Takahashi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ethelbart Takahashi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alvaro Salazar.
Salazar fails with the takedown.
Salazar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Takahashi cracks Salazar with a good jab.
Salazar shoots in looking for a takedown but Takahashi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salazar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Takahashi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Salazar.
Takahashi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Takahashi moves out of range of the strikes.
Takahashi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Salazar's calf.
Takahashi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Salazar throws a series of punches but Takahashi moves out of range.
Takahashi lands the left hand.
Takahashi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salazar.
Takahashi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Takahashi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Salazar checks it well.
Takahashi misses with a low kick.
Takahashi connects with an inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Takahashi throws a leg kick but Salazar sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Takahashi fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A cross from Salazar lands.
Salazar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Takahashi.
Salazar looks gassed!
A chopping leg kick lands by Takahashi.
Takahashi scores with a leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Takahashi. Salazar shrugs it off though.
Takahashi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Takahashi.
Takahashi scores with a body shot.
Takahashi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Takahashi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Takahashi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


It looks like Alvaro Salazar has been cut.

Takahashi lands a big head kick that sends Salazar tumbling to the mat! Takahashi takes a step backwards and waves Salazar back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Salazar is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Salazar doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Salazar is still on wobbly legs! Can Takahashi finish him?
Takahashi cracks Salazar on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Salazar falls backwards against the ropes. Takahashi follows up with more strikes that drop Salazar to his knees. Takahashi keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Salazar! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ethelbart Takahashi!
