Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javier Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers has chosen Conflict-Disturbed as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Javier Pena!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Summers!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pena lands a nice hook to Summers's body. Summers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Summers slips under a jab.
No joy there for Pena, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Summers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pena moves away.
Summers misses with a hook to the body
and Pena counters with a series of strikes. Summers will be more careful next time no doubt.
Summers bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Summers shoots for a double leg takedown but Pena sprawls well. He's pushed Summers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pena looks to land a combination. Summers sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Summers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pena throws a looping overhand right but Summers ducks down to avoid it.
Pena uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Summers.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pena avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Summers scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Pena has one foot on Summers's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Summers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Javier Pena will probably get the nod.

Nathan Summers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pena is bucking up trying to escape but Summers cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

I think Summers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
