The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dearborn scores with a hook.

Jason Overeem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overeem gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dearborn counters with a left to the body.
Overeem looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dearborn is fending him off so far but Overeem persists. Nope, Dearborn circles away and we're back to standing.
Dearborn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Overeem moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Overeem throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dearborn's waist but Dearborn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Overeem off to one side.

Dearborn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Dearborn feints and then cracks Overeem's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Overeem down.

Dearborn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Overeem.

Dearborn cracks Overeem with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dearborn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Overeem to stand back up!

Overeem gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Dearborn gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Overeem is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
